Millennium Stamp Commission

Commission to design the Royal Mail Millennium stamp, replacing the regular 1st class stamp for the duration of one year. The arrival of the new millennium is expressed by adjusting the perforation marks, which sees Her Imperial Majesty departing on the left of the stamp, to re-emerge on the right.
